Celebrating 25 Years

Share Your Story

This year we’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Pinehills! It's our belief that all of you are what makes this place so special. So, as part of the 25th celebrations, we're inviting everyone with a connection to The Pinehills to share their Pinehills Stories and photos. Those shared stories and images will help create:

  • The Pinehills 25th Anniversary Book: a keepsake celebrating The Pinehills
  • Digital Story Archive: an online collection of stories about The Pinehills
  • Visual Displays: exhibitions during anniversary celebrations

All stories will be reviewed before publication, and we'll contact you if we have questions or need clarification.

Fields with a red asterisk are required to submit the form.

Let’s Get Started

I understand my story may be edited for length/clarity, that not all submissions may be included in any specific format, and that my attribution preference (including anonymous) will be respected. I also agree to receive email communications from The Pinehills related to this project and community news.

Photo Upload

What We're Looking For: Your photo should capture your relationship with The Pinehills — it doesn't need to be a portrait of you! Think about:

  • A place that's meaningful to you here
  • An activity you love doing
  • A moment that represents your experience
  • Something that shows what The Pinehills means to you
Photo Quality Requirements ▾
  • Minimum 1MB file size
  • JPG or PNG format
  • Use your camera's highest quality setting and avoid screenshots
  • Test: zoom in on your chosen photo. Is it still clear? If not select or take another photo.
How to Check Your Photo Quality ▾

On your phone:

  • Use your camera's highest quality setting
  • Avoid screenshots or heavily cropped images
  • Photos taken in good lighting work best

From your computer:

  • Right-click the photo → Properties → Details
  • Look for "Horizontal/Vertical Resolution" - should show 150 DPI or higher
  • If resolution is lower, try to find the original file, retake the photo, or choose a different photo that meets requirements

Quick quality test: If you can zoom in on your photo and still see clear details, it's probably good quality!
