Forest Edge is the first neighborhood built at The Pinehills. We began arriving in the summer of 2001, as new pilgrims to Plymouth! We felt the excitement of starting new chapters in our lives and being part of the new vision for living among the pines. It was up to us to help build the foundation and reputation for this new village in Plymouth. Many of us came from different states for various reasons to live here, yet we had a common goal, which was to help make The Pinehills a great place to live.
Once Forest Edge was completed, we had 43 homes, consisting of attached townhouses and single family homes, with our own lovely neighborhood pool. Our neighborhood has an elected Board of Directors with five positions, and they are responsible for the fiscal and general needs and appearance of our neighborhood. They have done a commendable job!
Since we were the first neighborhood, we have seen many changes throughout our 24 years. People have left, as can be expected; however, there are some of us "pilgrims" still here who can say to new neighbors, "Welcome to Forest Edge; we were the first and still the best!"
