Capturing the Magic of Jingle All the Way to The Pinehills Village Green 2025

December 12, 2025     Food & Community, Events, People in The Pinehills, Behind the Pines, The Pinehills @ 25

There’s something special about the Village Green during the holidays. Jingle All the Way to The Pinehills Village Green brought together neighbors, families, and a parade of festive pups for a day full of warmth and winter cheer. If you missed it, or just want to re-live it, we have a little of that magic to share. A photo compilation of festive moments, chats with Santa, happy smiles, and lots of wagging Reindog tails.

The 19th Annual Reindog Parade Presented by Cape Cod 5

Everyone's favorite in a fun filled day on The Pinehills Village Green - The Reindog Parade. At the end of the day, every pooch who showed up, dressed up, and wagged their way down Village Green North helped us raise funds for Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals — and that makes them all winners in our book.

Best in Show… and Best in Hearts

In the excitement of the Reindog Parade, a Greyhound mix-up happened during the judge's conference and Best in Show announcement — and we’re happy to set the record straight:

Penny’s clever, hand-crafted "Greyhound Bus" costume stood out for its creativity and detail, and Penny gets extra credit for allowing her dad Stephen Feeney to subject her to such silliness — a well-earned Best in Show!

Kingsley, a Greyhound rescue and total love bug, according to mom, Susan Faherty, stole hearts with an unforgettable (tongue out!) Greyhound smile, a snazzy sweater, and parade presence.

Judge's Choice - Hero Dog!

Charlie Brown, a handsome long haired German Shepherd and BFF of Stephen Brown, is a therapy dog registered with three different organizations. He's just out here helping everyone cope a little bit better, including first responders, and we think he's a real hero.

Best Trick

Buddy the Beagle/Hound mix impressed us with his roster of tricks. And we also loved the festive sleigh and matching outfit courtesy of his favorite person, Megan Harding.

Most Festive Owner/Dog Attire

Maddie the "Chrismukkah" Westie and mom Carrie Seligman were so festive it encompassed TWO holidays! While most people dress up their dogs for the Reindog Parade, there are those who take it to the next level and out-holiday the competition with their own festive attire. Mazel tov, Carrie!

Honorable Mention

Chopper "Cho Cho" the bulldog, sometimes we just need to acknowledge je ne sais quoi. Is it his face looking like absolute Santa perfection with his hat and snowy white beard? Or maybe his breed-defying ability to catch major air when mom Kristin Zalgenas holds up his favorite toy? The judges weren't sure, they just knew he was irresistible!

Remembering a Fan Favorite

We learned that one of the best boys and Hall-of-Fame Reindog, Diesel, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this year. Beloved by his people, Lisa and Michael Cohen, the rescued Tennessee Black Mouth Cur, was a Reindog Parade Best in Show winner in both 2022 (Elf!) and 2023 (Budweiser Christmas Clydesdale), plus he earned an Honorable Mention win in 2024 as Santa Snoop Dogg with his elf Martha. Our sympathies to the Cohen family and may he always inspire Reindogs to bring their A-game. 🌈 🫶
