Mayflower Brewing Company and The Pinehills Join Forces to Support the Nathan Hale Foundation
PLYMOUTH, MA - In a display of community support, Mayflower Brewing Company and The Pinehills came together to present a donation to the Nathan Hale Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential services, support, and valuable information to veterans in the Plymouth County area.
The donation was proceeds from an event, held on Sunday, May 28, at the Mayflower Beer Garden at The Pinehills, where both companies rallied behind the shared cause. Mayflower Brewing Company donated $1 for every beverage sold, and The Pinehills matched each of the dollars raised by Mayflower Brewing.
The event raised over $1700 for The Nathan Hale Foundation. The funds will be used toward the foundation's mission to positively impact the lives of local veterans and their families.
Representatives from Mayflower Brewing Company, The Pinehills, and The Nathan Hale Foundation gathered at the beer garden for the check presentation, expressing their gratitude to beer garden patrons for coming out and showing such support.
"Partnering with Mayflower Brewing Company to raise funds for The Nathan Hale Foundation, and encouraging neighbors to support a community organization doing good for local vets, was the perfect way to kick off the Memorial Day weekend and the 2023 beer garden season. Thank you to all who joined us," said Deborah Sedares, President, Pinehills LLC.
Chris Hart, President and Founder of the Nathan Hale Foundation, echoed their appreciation for the generosity and shared commitment, stating, "We can’t thank Mayflower Brewing Company, The Pinehills, and everyone who showed up that Sunday enough for the kindness they have demonstrated."
