PLYMOUTH, Mass. – Oct. 23, 2014 – On Saturday, Nov. 15, Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills will host its second literary luncheon in partnership with the historic Westwinds Bookshop, to connect the public and hotel guests with authors and fellow book buffs for an afternoon of cuisine and conversation. The luncheon, at Mirbeau’s Henri-Marie fine dining restaurant, will showcase literary personalities Ann Hood, best-selling author of the newly-published An Italian Wife, and Christopher Castellani, author of three novels published by Algonquin Books: All This Talk of Love (2013), a New York Times Editors’ Choice and finalist for the Ferro-Grumley Literary Award; The Saint of Lost Things (2005); and A Kiss From Maddalena (2003), which won the Massachusetts Book Award in 2004.

Both authors will speak, read excerpts, share their unique stories and experiences, and take questions from the audience. The authors’ books will be available for purchase on-site, and after the luncheon, guests can have books signed and inscribed.

The luncheon is $65 per person, and includes an Italian-inspired three-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Stephen Coe. Seating opens at 11:30 a.m., with lunch served from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m., followed by the book signing. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Westwinds Bookshop at 781-934-2128.
