Incredible Talent Lives Right Next Door
One of the things that makes life at The Pinehills so special is the incredible talent that lives right next door. Our neighbors are painters, sculptors, photographers, glassmakers - and those are just the ones we know about! The Pinehills Art Association alone is a testament to how many creative people call this place home, and we're really only scratching the surface.
Last fall, our 25th Anniversary Magazine gave us the chance to spotlight five of these artists. "The Pursuit of Art," written by Kelly Chase with portraits by Kjeld Mahoney, profiles Penny Shuman's Wabi Sabi–inspired ceramics, Anatol Zukerman's socially charged paintings, Steven Eichberg's contemplative Miksang photography, Marcella Sabo's bold, color-driven canvases, and Leigh Hometh's sculptural stained glass. Each brings a distinct perspective shaped by where they've been and where they are now.
