Watch Toll Brothers stage their newest model home at The Pinehills, 4 Woody Nook in Vista Point. Open February 10, 2018!

We were lucky enough to catch up with Jeanette this week while she and her team were busy pulling together final details at the stunning new model home at 4 Woody Nook in Vista Point at The Pinehills.

PH: Did you have a design idea or favorite look you wanted to create in the model home?

JS: We love the idea of farmhouse style. It’s a very relatable, classic look and we wanted to bring that, with a fresh approach, to this model.

PH: What served as your color inspiration?

JS: Our color inspiration for this model was derived from the beautiful, lush greenery surrounding us here in The Pinehills.

PH: What do you love about "The Tradition" floorplan?

JS: The large open concept area that includes the kitchen, family room, and breakfast nook. While it's large enough to host and entertain in, it is still very cozy and comfortable. I love the oversized kitchen island!

PH: What is your favorite room in the model?

JS: The dining room is our favorite room of the house. The large scaled lanterns that hang over the dining table add ambiance, while the shiplap adds character and keeps the room bright. We love how the tall wood panels accentuate the height of the room. With a large dining table this space becomes the perfect place to host a dinner party.

PH: How did the architecture inspire your selections?

JS: The solid walls set the perfect backdrop to enhance them with shiplap. The coffered ceiling in the master bedroom, and the tall ceilings in the guest bedroom, inspired us to create special ceiling treatments to bring in extra "wow".

PH: Which accent pieces do you find most interesting?

JS: The breakfast nook dining chairs are one of our favorites. They are a modern take on the classic Windsor chair, and they add that fresh look to the farmhouse style.

PH: Do you have any decorating tips for those looking to enhance their home and take inspiration from what you have created at the new Toll Brothers model home in Vista Point?

JS: The wet bar in the family room is a favorite feature of mine and is really nice to have if you entertain. Fresh paint can go a long way but adding interesting wall details can enhance the design of your home. Lighting is also key, whether it's placing chandeliers in an unexpected location, or adding decorative sconces to the wall, having plenty of light keeps the home bright and fresh.
