Food, friends, and fun - we celebrated in true Pinehills fashion!
While Mother Nature had other plans for Sunday and Monday, the first half of the long Columbus Day weekend arrived with perfect fall celebration weather and even better community spirit. Our 25th Anniversary Celebration weekend was everything we hoped it would be –neighbors joyfully reconnecting, new friendships sparked, and countless stories and memories shared.
From the trail full of memories in the Village Green at "Picture This: 25 Years of Memories" that had everyone pointing and smiling at familiar faces, to Jackson Blue (on IG @southshorestuff) capturing on video the genuine joy and pride residents have for this place they call home, the weekend proved what we've known all along - The Pinehills isn't just about beautiful homes - though we love those - it's about the feeling of being somewhere that, no matter where you’re from, truly feels like home.
Whether you were dancing to The Dirt Dogs or the Louise Adams Duo at the Beer Garden, grabbing dinner from your favorites among the food truck line-up, hopping in the photo booth with your pals, getting your caricature drawn, or relaxing at the fire pit among neighbors, you were part of something special.
And...
There's still more 25th celebrating to come: Today our 25th Celebration Shop opened for the first round, with deliveries before Christmas!
Don't wait to shop! For this round of shopping, the store will close Friday, November 14th so that all orders can be fulfilled before Christmas. (We aren't Amazon, friends!)
Profit from sales benefit four Pinehills resident-run philanthropic groups, adding to the contributions that they are already providing to our community and beyond:
Womanade Pinehills; The Gives Back Team; The Pinehills Veterans Group; Hadassah
The store will reopen again for future rounds of shopping soon, at the same link, featuring a special 25th Anniversary Book, new seasonal collections, and more commemorative items.
