Join us for an inspiring evening of spoken word and poetic expression at our Poetry Night, featuring Susan Hunter and Tom Snarsky. Each poet will share about 10 minutes of their work. Following the event, there will be time for book signing and mingling.
About Susan
Susan Hunter, a Pinehills resident, is the author of the poetry collection, “Do We Ever Stay?” recently published by Kelsay Books, and the chapbook “Unfinished Spaces” (Finishing Line Press, 2024). Her poems have appeared in print and online journals, including On the Seawall, Southern Humanities Review and Saranac Review and have been featured on Cape & Islands NPR radio and the Local Seen, Plymouth’s Area Community Access Television. A graduate of Middlebury College and New York University, Susan has been a journalist for weekly newspapers in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
About Tom
Tom Snarsky (he/him) is the author of Light-Up Swan and Reclaimed Water (Ornithopter Press), A Letter From The Mountain & Other Poems (Animal Heart Press), and most recently MOUNTEBANK (Broken Sleep Books). His chapbook Tired Light is forthcoming from Thirty West Publishing House in October. He lives in the mountains of northwestern Virginia with his wife Kristi and their cats.
