The Merry Book Club was started over 20 years ago...there were so many members named Mary, the name Merry Book Club was chosen!

The Merry Book Club was started over 20 years ago. When the group began, there were so many members named Mary, the name Merry Book Club was chosen. The club welcomes residents from all neighborhoods of The Pinehills. The group meets monthly in the Rec Room of the Stonebridge Club to discuss a variety of books. Pam Hildebrandt led the group for many years, eventually passing on leadership to Vivien Cohen and Janet Friend. – Janet Friend, The Merry Book Club & Stonebridge Librarians
