The Pinehills has provided me a home and friendship that I did not have in Hull. I am so glad I moved here.

I grew up in Plymouth County (Hull) and always said I would never live here. It was a lonely existence with no neighbors. I subscribed to Coastal Living magazine and in 2003 they wrote an article on The Pinehills. One day, I was visiting my daughter, as I was living in New York and we took a ride to The Pinehills. It was April and the flowers were blooming and were beautiful. I already lived in a condo community in New York. So we toured Winslowe's View. It really piqued my interest. I came back a second time and the third time was the charm—I said sign me up.

I have lived here 21 years, have made new friends, learned to play bridge and mahjong, have been involved in the social committee, design review, Neighbor to Neighbor and helped start a garden club. I have volunteered for charitable events, helped with our Thanksgiving Food Bank desserts for 10 years, made hundreds of masks for COVID, med quilts for BIDI neonatal nursery. The Pinehills has provided me a home and friendship that I did not have in Hull. I am so glad I moved here.
