The Pinehills Isn't Just Perfect for People—It's a Paradise for Our Four-Legged Friends Too!
Merry Mags!
We live on a golf hole on the back nine of the Nicklaus Course. Maggie quickly claimed this hole as her "backyard." With mostly less than average snow between 2016-2023, she somehow managed to find literally hundreds of golf balls in the woods or under leaves. She didn't have to see them, she could "sniff them out"! She would pick one up and happily dump it at my feet. After my "Nice job, Mags" response, she would spring back into action.
Sadly, we lost Maggie to cancer in 2023. But like us, she loved her time in the beautiful Pinehills.
Update: We replaced Maggie with a Golden Doodle in 2024 and she has no interest in finding golf balls! But the three of us still share many hours each week exploring nature within The Pinehills. Active, healthy living is a huge benefit when retiring here! – Bruce

The Pinehills is an extraordinarily beautiful village, and the only thing that exceeds its beauty is its people.

I think what surprised me most was the beauty of the community-the way the homes are situated in nature..., the existence of old trees, Old Sandwich Road, and the trails.
