My wife and I bought our home in December 2002. I met about 75 of my new neighbors in the fall of 2002, before any of us bought our homes. There were only 5 couples during the winter of 2003; most of the other folks moved in between April and July. Great Island and The Pinehills felt like home by early 2003.

The Overlook Club felt like mine until 2019.

I felt connected to hundreds of Pinehills residents, the leaders of many of the neighborhoods, The Veterans Group at The Pinehills and of course Debora, Judy and John.

From late 2005 through 2018 I spent 1-2 hours Monday through Friday reading and answering emails concerning Great Island or The Pinehills. Something that I miss since I moved in 2024.
