...we asked ourselves if we were ready to open our dream shop, thinking "if we don't at least investigate, we should probably stop saying 'what this place needs is...'" It was a defining moment for us.

We were first introduced to The Pinehills while searching for a nice place to ride our bikes. We were immediately struck by the beauty of The Pinehills. This drew us back when we were searching for a home in south Plymouth, which in turn introduced us to the Mayflower Beer Garden and the live music. This event made it into my weekly calendar because we found the experience and scene to be idyllic. Every Sunday we'd pack up our lawn chairs and spend the afternoon on the Village Green, enjoying the food trucks and the offerings of Mayflower Brewing.

Like many other attendees, we observed that this little village needed a good coffee and ice cream shop. It was one sunny afternoon in 2023 that we sat in our chairs and glanced over and saw a retail space for lease (Suite 114) next to the Post Office. I remember being super excited at that time, and we asked ourselves if we were ready to open our dream shop, thinking "if we don't at least investigate, we should probably stop saying 'what this place needs is...'" It was a defining moment for us.

Soon we met with Tony (Green) and Deb (Sedares) and discussed our desires and plans for the space. Trying to incorporate our long-held dreams to own a shop with products that we felt would enhance the Pinehills Village experience, the STUZZi plan was hatched and began to take shape.

Several dreams meshed to create STUZZi. Christina wanted to have a sweet shop that sold chocolates, bonbons, and truffles, but provide an unmatched and elevated flavor experience attempting to match the quality of The Pinehills. In addition, she also wanted to provide the "penny-candy" store experience of her youth—which drove the creation of the "STUZZi Wall of Candy." This provides both a nostalgic visit to a candy store for adults and also that fun "Kid in a Candy Store" experience to today's youth and visiting grandchildren.

To round out our sweet shop, we wanted to offer gelato (Italian ice cream), great coffee and espresso (cappuccinos and lattes) for everyday enjoyment, plus wonderful unique experiences like the Affogato (gelato and espresso in a cup), and some baked goods (mini-loaves and cookies). Our goal is to be the go-to location for all your sweet cravings plus introduce people to new decadent treats.

In a little less than two years, we have honed our beautiful chocolate selections and expanded our sweet offerings to include signature treats like Dubai Chocolates, Strawberry Dubai Cups, Sunday Cinnamon Buns, Cookies, and several new latte flavors and experiences.

We wish to thank all the wonderful Pinehills residents and visitors who have helped make the experience a joy for us. We genuinely feel and are thankful for the support and wishes for success. We hope to be a successful and integral part of The Pinehills community for years to come. Whether we make you smile with a tasty treat or provide you a wonderful gift for others, we aim to provide stellar service and top-notch treats.
