When you bought in Rebecca’s Landing, you got one of these framed photos of Clam Pudding Pond with a quote... I made the recipe and shared it at one of our Friday Night neighborhood get-togethers at the pool.

Framed Clam Pudding Pond History- Rebecca's Landing

When Sharyn Waters purchased her home at 34 Hidden Cove in Rebecca's Landing sixteen years ago, she received more than just keys—she discovered a fascinating connection to colonial history. The framed quote presented to all new Rebecca’s Landing homeowners back then told the story of Clam Pudding Pond, quoting an 1817 letter describing colonial judges stopping during their travels to enjoy "roasted clams and hard Indian pudding, the luxuries of that age of simplicity." Rather than simply hanging the quote on her wall, Sharyn recreated the traditional clam pudding recipe and shared it at a Friday Night neighborhood get-together at the Rebecca's Landing pool. She and her neighbors tasted a piece of the past and came together around the rich heritage beneath their feet.
