It's been both humbling and inspiring to contribute to the fabric of such a remarkable place.

Lisa Weekes Summerhouse Interior Designer

I started in 1998 as one of 4 along with Tony, John and one engineer! So, much transpired in the 10 years I was there, and since I have left and went on my own.

When I first arrived at The Pinehills, it wasn't even The Pinehills yet—just many acres of trees, open spaces, and a dusty fire road. It was Tony Green, John Judge, and me. To be part of such a small crew in those very first days, when everything was still a vision waiting to be built, remains one of my most cherished memories. Watching the Summerhouse rise from sketches into the heart of it all, and then having the chance to reimagine its design years later, was like coming full circle.

Being here from the very beginning has meant watching dreams take shape—not just in buildings, but in the lives lived within them. I've had the joy of designing spaces like the Post Office, Stonebridge Club, Village Green buildings, model homes, Talcott House and cottages at Old Sandwich and even the smallest details of holiday tours and the many events. But the real meaning comes from the people. It's been both humbling and inspiring to contribute to the fabric of such a remarkable place.

Visionary. Creative. Timeless. And above all—home.
