When I shook Tony Green's hand about their help with the water and sewer utilities...that was all I needed. I trusted that handshake.

When I first heard about The Pinehills we were planning to build a fire house on Long Pond and Clark Road about half a mile away. Then I met Tony Green and John Judge who were in the planning stages of The Pinehills.

John drove me all over The Pinehills up and down the fire roads so we could envision how a station might work directly on the property. They agreed to provide us with water and sewer assistance which we would not have had on our previously planned site. When I shook Tony Green's hand about their help with the water and sewer utilities...that was all I needed. I trusted that handshake.

The Fire Station there (Town of Plymouth Pinehills Fire Station No. 3) has really worked. It has grown to serve not just The Pinehills but the community at large. It is a true success story and has surpassed my expectations.

Former Fire Chief Tom Fugazzi, Plymouth Fire Department

Notable: Decades ago, Chief Fugazzi and his wife attended an event at The Pinehills. His wife wrote Tony a thank you note and used the phrase "Behind The Pines." When Tony recently bumped into them, he mentioned they were still using that phrase! Chief Fugazzi's wife got a big kick out of learning her words had become a lasting tagline.
